BUY BOOKS ON JACK THE RIPPER         THE JACK THE RIPPER WALK

Here at the Jack the Ripper bookshop you can purchase books that detail the history of Jack the Ripper.

All these books are available from Amazon and have been chosen for the insight they offer readers into the full, and often uncensored, history of Jack the Ripper.

For a general and excellent overview of the Jack the Ripper murders I would suggest reading Philip Sugden's superb tome The Complete History of Jack the Ripper. If you seek an in depth analysis of the case and of the police investigation into the murders then I suggest you dive into Keith Skinner and Stuart Evans's Ultimate Source Book, which features many contemporary police reports into the Jack the Ripper murders.

Patricia Cornwell's book Portrait of a killer is one of the more hyped Jack the Ripper books of recent years and has been the subject of extensive criticism in so-called Ripperologist circles. It is debatable whether Patricia Cornwall can claim, as she does on the books cover, "Jack the Ripper - Case Closed," but her book certainly makes for interesting reading.

That great favourite of recent years The Diary of Jack the Ripper is another much debated over tome and is well worth a perusal if only to decide for yourself whether the much vaunted diary is genuine.

All in all students who wish to discover for themselves the full history of Jack the Ripper should find a great deal here. And who knows the books on offer at our Jack the Ripper shop might just set you on your own path of research and you could end up being the person who finds that dusty old file, or long lost document that solves the mystery of Jack the Ripper once and for all!
